David Bowie was born David Robert Jones in January 8, 1947 in Brixton, London, England, United Kingdom. He is an iconic English singer, songwriter and musician. After five decades of popular music and often reinventing his music and image, Bowie is extensively regarded as an leader, specially for his work in the 1970s. He has been quoted as an power by many musicians and is known for his distinctive voice and the thinker depth of his work.

Bowie is one of the most powerful rock musicians from the 1970s to the present. He has sold an approximated 136 million albums in his career and has been introduced into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Due to his broad spread into different genres, it could be said that he influences most modern bands at least on an indirect level
